The Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides has teamed up with the Oakville Ontario Firefighters to produce a 2014 Charity Calendar.  Each month in the calendar features a future Dog Guide puppy with an Oakville Firefighter.  All work on the calendar was completed by volunteers so 100% of each sale is donated to charity. 

The Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides (LFCDG) is a national charity.  It's mission is to assist Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing Dog Guides at no cost from coast to coast.        

Since 1983, Lions Foundation of Canada has provided specially trained Dog Guides to more than 2,000 men, women and children from coast to coast. Each Dog Guide costs approximately $25,000 to raise and train but they are provided at no cost to qualified applicants.

The calendar is a fundraising endeavour as the Foundation does not receive any government funding.  By purchasing a calendar your will help more Canadians with disabilities lead a safer and more independent life.
