On May 2nd, Canadians hit the polls to vote for
their new leader. As local candidates pay homage to the voters in their
ridings, feverishly stepping up their campaigns to garner support, now is the
time we should be asking them where they stand on issues that are important to
us. If you’re a Canadian voter, and one of the 9 out of 10 Canadians (95%) who agree
that animal pain and suffering should be reduced as much as possible, then you
can help effect positive change in Canada’s animal protection laws by letting
your candidates know that animals matter to you. The Canadian chapter of the World
