One Dog Organic Bakery LLC (ODOB) recently announced their new milestone during the month of May 2015, they donated over 100 bags to their Rescue Partner of the Monthอพ a new high record, bringing their total treats donated to over 200 lbs!

Animal shelters and rescues are overflowing with homeless canines and it can get very expensive when trying to feed them a high quality food. Small business owner, Veronica Glynn, saw an opportunity to share her love for rescued dogs and her passion for safe, nutritious dog food with the rescue community.

In February, 2015, One Dog Organic Bakery launched their K9 Rescue Outreach (#BuyABagHelpARescue) campaign and had their first rescue signed up less 24 hours later. They are now booked into April, 2016. Their program provides much more than safe food to their rescue partners, they also work to promote and help fundraise for each organization. Each month, ODOB will do a Rescue Spotlight on their weekly blog about both the rescue or shelter but also those who have dedicated their lives to rescuing our animals. Every rescue partner will also receive exclusive discounts to share with their friends and families and social media support for any upcoming events.

“I estimate that 80% of my customers have rescued their fur family and both of our pups are rescued. We believe that all dogs should have access to safe and nutritious food and with our kind and generous customer’s help, we will make that dream a reality.” says owner Veronica Glynn.

Because the #BuyABagHelpARescue campaign has been so successful, One Dog Organic will be expanding their reach in the local community. All sales generated from their annual events and weekly visits to Wags Dog Park will go to support a local rescue or shelter. Online sales will continue to support their national rescue partners.

“I have the best job in the world and being able to make a difference in one dog’s life, something so small as providing a treat to a dog who has never experienced human kindness. It just doesn’t get any better than that.” says Glynn.

ODOB is accepting applications and nominations for their K9 Rescue Outreach program. To sign up, visit their website at http://j.mp/OneDogRescueSignUp
