New leash on life: Not all dogs live for a walk but all dogs deserve to live.

Oh the joy on your dog’s face when you bring out the leash and set out together to explore the world. But so many dogs around the world have no one bringing joy and safety to their lives. Without someone to speak for them, millions of dogs are killed each year because of preventable issues including over population and peoples’ fear of rabies outbreaks.

But together we can protect them. World Animal Protection has the way. They work with governments and partners to find the solutions that work best locally—creating safer and healthier communities for dogs and people alike. From Bangladesh to Sri Lanka to the Philippines and China they have set up successful rabies vaccination clinics that stop the cruel killing of dogs and stop the spread of this 100% preventable disease. In the African nations of Sierra Leone and Zanzibar, thousands of dogs have been spayed or neutered. They are also working to build the veterinary capacity across these regions to make sure these programs continue.

Join the World Animal Protection community and save dogs in danger. Sign the pledge and stand with them to improve the lives of dogs. You’ll receive a World Animal Protection dog tag for your dog to wear as a proud symbol that they are protecting their brothers and sisters around the world. Every time you walk your dog, you will be walking with all dogs. Help give them the love and protection your dog feels every day. Give dogs everywhere a #newleashonlife
