Do you have a beloved pooch at home that you cannot imagine life without? Well, now you don't have to. ViaGen Pets and Equine is cloning dogs, cats, and horses in the United States. With over 19 years of experience in cloning animals, they are the worldwide leader in cloning the animals we love so much.

The first and most crucial step is to preserve the DNA of your pet with their Genetic Preservation service. ViaGen Pets will ship you a biopsy kit ($1,600) that contains the items required for your veterinarian to take the small biopsy samples via general or local anesthesia. The biopsy samples are sent to their lab in Texas where they will culture millions of living cells each containing 100% the DNA of your pet. After a few weeks of culturing the cells are cryopreserved and stored indefinitely. There is no rush at this point to clone; theses cells can be used years down the road. An annual storage fee of $150 begins one year after Genetic Preservation.

We know that many pet owners have questions about cloning. A cloned animal is simply a genetic twin of your pet, born at a later date. The cloned twin will share many of the key attributes of your current pet, often including intelligence, temperament, and appearance. The genetic identity of your cloned pet is identical to the original pet. Cloning does not involve any changes to the genes of your pet.

When the time is right for you to move forward with cloning simply reach out to the ViaGen Pets and Equine team at 888-876-6104 and they will educate you on the process, timing, cost and will be happy to answer any general questions you have.
