The (Dog) Sh*t Has Hit the Fan
Dear Abby has really stepped in it

Advice Columnist Dear Abby has really stepped in it this time, stumbling into a hot-button issue for dog-lovers. In a September column, Abby offered advice on whether it’s acceptable to drop poo bags in neighbours’ trash cans while out dog-walking. Apparently the issue is a heated one (much like which way to hang the toilet paper roll. Is there a theme here?) with opinions varying widely, and many of her column readers wrote to weigh in on the topic. Read Dear Abby’s doggie etiquette advice and the reader reactions here.
