For the first ten years of her life, Callie the French bulldog was neglected by her owners. Fortunately, dog lover Caroline Murphy opened her home to Callie and nursed her back into good health. Sadly, it may have been too little too late as Callie has been given only months to live due to heart disease.

This story may have a happy ending afterall however as Caroline has vowed to give Callie – who had no life for ten years – the send off she deserves by creating a very special bucket list.

Items include a Happy Meal from McDonalds, meeting a celebrity (and getting a delfie, or 'dog selfie') and a trip to London.

"This bucket list is all about making her happy and putting her in situations that fire up her senses and make her come to life," said Caroline.

Callie and Caroline are already ticking off items and living life to the most. Callie was recently awarded a dog of the month rosette, one of the items on the list, as well as meeting celebrity Anthony Head – and, of course, snapping a quick selfie.

"I'm going to do absolutely everything I can for her to make sure that I make her feel like the little Queen that she is," said Caroline.
