This weekend we celebrated Cash’s 9th birthday, can’t believe how big and handsome my baby boy is getting! I knew I wanted him to have the funnest weekend ever, so I started off by making him a raw beef & veggie cake! I simply mixed lean ground beef, shredded carrots and zucchini squash with a wee bit of garlic powder and rosemary.

(The sangria was for me, not Cash). This hungry boy definitely knew that whatever was brewing in the kitchen, it was for him! He waited anxiously for his delicious cake…

and polished it off very quickly!

As you can imagine, Cash was pretty tuckered out after his wild party, but he still posed for a birthday pic with his ol’ ma. 

 

Every year I’m amazed at what a good and sweet boy we have, and thank our lucky stars that he came into our lives as an unruly pup 7+ years ago!
