Pete

This is one of the last photos of our Pete before he got so sick with cancer. He was a dog in a million and I still tear up when I think about losing him. He had a great sense of humor and actually played tricks on us, like stalking my husband or pretending like he was going to pee on the sofa then "smiling at us and shaking his head giving us a dog laugh. We have his nephew now, and some times I see old Pete shining through. I know he is waiting for us at the rainbow bridge with that silly smile on his face and his little stub tail wagging a mile a minute, ready for a walk and probably thinking of some new trick to play on us.
