in memory of

Nell

Jan 10, 2006 - Sep 18, 2013 Missed by Kiley Carpenter in Woodland, MI

This is Nell, She lived a wonderful 19 years , and she was in my life since I was 6 years old. Boy, was she smart, and I miss her wherever I go. She was a loving family member. It was hard to see her grow older, She started losing her biological functions and she had hip dysplashia. Nell was a good herding dog, when I told her to get the goats on the milker, she would go right away and do what I asked. In her earlier years, Nell was a real athlete, a pest control system and a amazing family member. I considered her to be my grandmother in a way. She taught new puppies that came into the house how to go to the bathroom outside and to get down steps. Nell was obsessed over tennis balls, she would bring the ball to me and I would throw it and so on until she was too tired to go any more. I still to this day hold onto her ashes and a stepping stone that I made that has her younger self in a picture. I can now bring her with me everywhere I go.
