To say I am heartbroken is an understatement. He fought so many battles from such a tender age but he was with us for so many years more than I ever thought possible and for that, I am filled with gratitude. I lost my first dog, Candy, when I was 7. I literally thought my life was over, but somehow this little bundle of snow actually filled the void. For my 'handsome man' who loved spaghetti and his orange beard, hated getting his photos taken and his hair cut, and would religiously make sure he spent over an hour squeaking his toy chicken, I will miss you. Even though it pains me to say they are now both gone, I am so beyond grateful that they both can finally be together. R.I.P HM x
