Greta was a great friend She loved everyone. Greta had a total hip replacement at the age of two, her daddy bought her a pool so she could have therapy. She loved that pool... at age 4 she had broken her paw the vet and dad had to make a homemade cast out of pvc pipe because she was a over 100 lbs. at age 5 we almost lost her to bloat. Greta was so loving with all animals, we brought home a GSD puppy and she was such a good mom to our Olga. We since added a new pup Clara and Nana/Greta was so good with her, they all loved swimming. On Nov 3,2011 Greta was acting like she did when she had bloat, we rushed her to the vet and they worked on her until she was stable. The next morning they called and said she wasn't doing well and suggested surgery. Our sweet baby never made it. We don't know what was wrong other than lack of oxygen to her organs. Greta loved life and had overcome huge obstacles. She touched so many people. We miss you so very much.
