Ingredi-Guard: Pet Food Reviewed, Certified and Trusted

The INGREDI-GUARD Pet Food Safety Program is an up and coming pet food quality assurance program launched at the beginning of 2016.  We recognized that the pet food industry suffers from inconsistent product quality regulation. As a response to this, we have developed a voluntary pet food safety program as a way to close those regulatory gaps and encourage responsible manufactures to have their products tested and reviewed for harmful substances. INGREDI-GUARD audits and reviews participating pet food manufacturer’s product lines for harmful levels of pesticide residues, heavy metals, melamine and cyanuric acid. Products that have been reviewed and meet our testing standard will display the INGREDI-GUARD certification logo on its packaging.
