The Dog & Cat World Summit is a free online event beginning on October 1, 2015 through October 10, 2015. It will feature interviews with outstanding veterinarians from both traditional and alternative medicine specialties intended to inform and inspire pet owners. The Dog & Cat World Summit was founded by Dr. Argeres after recognizing a need to centralize many veterinarian specialties into one place. The summit provides pet owners the opportunity to learn about everything from animal nutrition, holistic treatments such as acupuncture and massage, to traditional vet medicine via specialties such as animal neurology, dermatology, poison control, puppy socialization, hospice and peaceful passing and many others. The summit also has bonus speakers to address the pet owner about their own health. This bonus section includes interviews about topics such as clinical holistic nutrition, strategies to correct nutrient imbalances, and gluten-free lifestyles, just to name a few. This will be a once in a lifetime event which blends the dog and cat worlds with the human world to help owners and their pets be well and happy.

Dr. Argeres states, "As medicine evolves, many different opinions and options are emerging. The intention of this summit is to share helpful tips and information from many different philosophies and perspectives of veterinary medicine to help with our furry family members."

Dr. Susan Erika Argeres received her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University in 1990, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1994. Prior to vet school, Dr. Argeres felt that animals deserved the option of holistic care, and after practicing full service veterinary care in Colorado and Albuquerque, she started her training for Medical veterinary acupuncture at CSU in 2001. In 2003, she opened Argeres Animal Alternatives and in 2005 she became a certified veterinary acupuncturist. She currently practices at three different clinics in addition to providing house calls. She performs acupuncture, laser therapy, and massage on sweet-loving pets. Dr. Argeres is the creator and host of The Dog & Cat World Summit 2015.
