Santa Monica, CA February 12, 2013 – In 2013, DOG for DOG donated 230,000 bags of treats and over 50,000 pounds of food to helpe to feed over 250,000 dogs in need!

DOG for DOG donates one  product for every one purchased whether it is food or treats to a rescue group or shelter. To promote giving on a local level, DOG for DOG works closely with its distributors and stores allowing them to choose where they would like to make a donation.

“If a store or distributor works closely with a particular rescue group, no matter how big or small, we will make the donation to that group,” says Dakota Dunn, Director of Giving. “This really connects the Retailers and their chosen rescues group and empowers them by knowing specifically where their donation is going.”

“ We had a great year in 2013 and we are hoping to make even more donations in 2014 as we grow our movement to help dogs in need,” Dunn said.

Specifically this is what was given in 2013
• 192,910 DOGSBARS
• 36,446 DOGSTREATS
• 52,251lbs of DOGSFOOD

DOG for DOG is a movement to help as many dogs in need as possible. With every DOG for DOG item that is purchased, we donate an item to a dog in need. You buy one. We give one.
