Animal Health Clinics get CVBC approval
We are so pleased to announce that our free Animal Health Clinics that serve homeless and low income pet guardians in Vancouver and New Westminster has received from the College of Veterinarians of BC approval to operate.
Pets Are Not Products Campaign
On Saturday, May 24th, a small group of volunteers demonstrated outside Puppies, Fish & Critters in Scottsdale Mall, Delta.
We continue to reach out to consumers to provide them with information on the animal welfare issues associated with the retail sale of animals online, in newspapers and at pet stores.

Unwanted behaviour is one of the top reasons dogs are surrendered to shelters. In most cases, these behaviours can be easily corrected with the appropriate information and guidance.
Join us on July 6, at 1pm for an informative workshop presented by Shelagh Begg, CPDT-KA, Certified Professional Dog Trainer and President of HugABull Advocacy & Rescue Society to learn about the most common behaviour problems and how to address them.
