Gets A Ticket to Ride: Lucy Pet Products’ “Gnarly Crankin’ K9 Wave Machine” float at 2017 Tournament of Roses Parade
Amy Tokic will live Facebook to thousands of fans
Amy Tokic, creator, editor and content producer for the popular news website PetGuide, will be ridin’ and live Facebookin’ from the Lucy Pet Products' Tournament of Roses parade float in the 2017 Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif. on Jan. 2. Tokic won the honor after entering her name in a contest at this year’s annual BlogPaws bloggers convention held in Phoenix in June.
While on the float during the Rose parade Tokic will live Facebook to thousands of fans who regularly visit the PetGuide website.
A Canadian national, Tokic said, “Wow … I can’t believe I actually get to be on the Lucy Pet Products float and go to the Rose Parade! It still hasn’t sunk in.”
This years truly unique Lucy Pet Products float will be the longest and heaviest float that has ever participated in the Rose Parade. Its theme will be that of a beachside paradise complete with a 5,000 gallon wave making machine and a group of surfin’ dogs that were selected during auditions that were held all across the country.
