Dogs can surf? Indeed they can, and they do!

Dog's love to be with their human friends, and often they want to join in on the fun.

Humans aren’t the only “surf dogs” – surfers’ four-legged friends love water too, and many even like catching waves. These amphibious canines are special creatures: Top surfers believe that dogs who learn to surf develop a unique attitude, knowing they have something that sets them apart from other dogs.

TCB Cafe Publishing and TasteTV, who conceived and created the very first Surf Dog competition in history, are happy to announce that the next World Dog Surfing Championships will take place on August 5, 2017, in Pacifica on the Northern California coast, near San Francisco.

It's time to get all four paws wet and wild!

The Norcal Dog Surfing event & World Championships for Dog Surfing take place on the Northern California coast — where the concept for the sport originated — bringing together dog surfing talent.  It is the premier dog surfing event in Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area, from the historic team that conceived & pioneered the concept of dog surfing competitions!

Dog surfers and their human pals are invited to join the fun and bring home the gold. A portion of the proceeds of this event go to dog related non-profits such as the Peninsula Humane Society, Muttville, Rocket Dog Rescue, and the Marin Humane Society.

During the event there will be a number of activities including the surf competition, dog beach fashion contest, pre-event dog surfing lessons, dog adoptions, partner tents and activities, and more.
